Global Sales Operations Lead

The Operations team is now looking for a Global Sales Operations Lead to join the team!

Position Overview

As the Global Sales Operations Lead at Hem, you will be at the forefront of a new business vertical, playing a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of projects from a strategic assortment perspective. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will lead all aspects of assortment-related tasks within large-scale sales opportunities, from contract negotiation to the final product delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Project Development

- Own the entire assortment process within each Global Sales project, from strategic approach and enabling product requests to sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery.

- Collaborate with the Hem R&D team and manufacturing partners to develop custom assortment solutions for specific sales opportunities.

- Facilitate regular meetings with the R&D team to discuss developments, open requests/orders, and customization needs.

Project Management

- Actively participate in Project management meetings, contributing to executive decision-making from an assortment and operations perspective.

- Together with the Sales Project Manager make sure project timelines are planned and accurately executed on.

- Facilitate design discussions, take-off reviews, and installation synchronization.

New Project Coordination

- Anticipate and plan for new projects on the horizon, strategizing on how to assist in their execution.

- Manage new incoming product requests from existing client accounts.

- Ensure logical supply chain setup for each project.

- Follow up on incoming purchase orders from vendors and coordinate deliveries with logistics partner

Quoting, Pricing, and Sales presentations

Conduct RFQs with manufacturing partners, contract and price negotiations, and structure business cases for specific sales opportunities

- Set product prices and discounts for developed assortment and share models with the Sales team.

- Manage new incoming product & service requests from existing client accounts.

Assist sales team with product assets to facilitate the creation of sales presentations.

Documentation and Approval

Set up new SKU in internal systems (NAV and Airtable)

- Document assortment and services according to Hem standards.

Supplier and Vendor Relations

Set up new supplier accounts and manage ongoing relationships.

- Negotiate discounts, payment terms, tax exemptions, and delivery terms with suppliers.

- Coordinate stock holding possibilities and place purchase orders with relevant suppliers.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in global project management, strategic purchasing, and supply chain management

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to analyze and solve problems strategically.

- Previous exposure to Sales Operations and executive-level decision-making.

- Familiarity with NAV and project management tools is a plus

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Demonstrated success in project management, particularly in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.

- +5 years of background in sales operations and supply chain management with a track record of successful project implementations.

- Master's Degree in Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Engineering and Management or Supply Chain Management.
