Category Manager

Cramo as part of Boels Rental is Europe's leading service and equipment supplier in the rental industry. The business is conducted under the brand name BOELS in central Europe and under the brand name CRAMO in northern Europe. The company is represented in a total of 18 countries.

About the role:

Your main responsibility will be sourcing, developing, and managing supply sources within the assigned category to ensure effective and efficient procurement. We are now looking for Category Managers to the following categories: Material Handling and Power and Energy.

As a Category Manager you will:

- Drive cost savings and efficiency through fleet sourcing projects and TCO processes.
- Collaborate with the Head of the Category to align fleet planning with CAPEX planning, sales objectives, and fleet planning processes.
- Work with OPCO's to determine the fleet to be purchased and divested based on business needs.
- Assist OPCO's in handling ad-hoc sourcing cases and developing new product offerings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and develop the category strategy.
- Conduct tests on new suppliers, products, and applications to ensure quality and suitability.
- Manage and develop supplier relations aligned with sustainability practices and QSE requirements.

Who you are:

We believe that you bring proven in purchasing, with a demonstrated track record of successfullexperiencey closing deals. You have in-depth knowledge of business development strategies and the ability to identify and seize opportunities in the market. You are self-motivated and driven to achieve targets, capable of working autonomously and making sound decisions to drive business growth.
Your skills:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years' experience within strategic purchasing.
- A few years’ experience of sourcing and negotiating.
- Analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English.
- Construction equipment experience is preferable but not a requirement.

The position is located in Solna; however, some travelling may be required. Team members will be working in the Solna office and the Sittard office, Netherlands.
