About us:

H2 Green Steel is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning - our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what’s next in store for us.

Digital Workplace Specialist

Responsibilities:

- You will support our H2GS colleagues worldwide, sitting in one of our offices in Stockholm or Boden.

- We have an exciting "0 IT Support tickets goal" for EOY 2024. You'll play a key role in ensuring those tickets are first solved but then after, looked at, analysed, and planned for automation. We will walk the talk, and we will make it happen.

- You will administrate a Best of Breed Digital Workplace environment, that counts with a big amount of 3rd party SaaS apps that will require your hands-on configuration and troubleshooting, such as Zoom, Slack or Miro.

- You will work in a different spectrum of IT projects and problem areas. All the way from basic support tasks to implementing our next big thing.

Qualifications:

We are not looking for the most technically skilled IT Engineer out there, but it is for us crucial that you understand the IT fundamentals and how it all stitches together.

It is also very important that you are capable of finding systematic issues and repetitive tasks and that you understand that another world is possible via automations and setting (sometimes) very simple and effective processes to make H2GS' employees life easier.

To succeed in this role we believe you are someone that loves helping people out, has a strong "can do" attitude, and thrives in diverse environments were lots of activities and problems are faced every day. You are also someone that is fine with uncertainty and not so much structure. It will come, but we are right now in an exciting beginning phase.

And last but not least, you are a prestige-less team member. Collaboration is something you enjoy a lot more than working alone.
