The role: Head of Marketing

In this role, you will work with an exceptional team of marketing minds to grow the audience of our global mobile games! We currently have a strong portfolio of well-loved games as well as a number of new games in creation. Your role will focus on driving growth, revenue and audience to our games.

You enjoy both defining strategy, as well as getting involved with day to day marketing tasks. You love experimentation and you aren’t afraid to fail! You get excited about encouraging your team to try out new ideas and to push the boundaries of what you can do together!

You have a background in digital growth marketing or user acquisition within large scale mobile games and you are experienced in marketing across a variety of channels. You are a strong believer in testing and data is your friend. You love playing games…(you will be playing a lot of mobile games in this role in order to be successful)!

Over and above all of this, you bring energy and inspiration to your team and you encourage them to be the best they can be!

The team:

You will lead our marketing team of around ten people that are overseeing user acquisition campaign management, ad creative production, communication methods such as IR/PR and social media.

What you’ll be doing:

- Driving growth, revenue and audience to our games

User acquisition strategy. Work with the team to develop innovative marketing strategies for our games to ensure maximum visibility and engagement. You will work with significant budgets for UA. Last year we invested more than $10M in UA.

Coordinate marketing plans to meet the company’s business goals.

Work closely with our highly experienced UA team to define both quarterly and annual plans.

- Collaboration with game teams

Work closely with product leads and development teams to align marketing efforts with roadmaps and feature releases

Provide insights into market trends, competitive landscape, and user preferences to inform product strategy.

- Performance analysis and reporting

Aim for outstanding results from your team’s campaigns. Monitor closely the ROAS and overall revenue impact of your campaigns along with player acquisition results.

Utilize testing and data to drive your decision making.

Share results and findings with the management team and the whole company on a regular basis.

- Competitor and market research

Use market analysis tools like Sensor Tower to actively review the market

Play our games and similar mobile games in the market regularly to keep up to date with trends

Review our own and other company’s marketing campaigns to spot areas to improve upon

- Partnership and supplier management

Build and manage strong relationships with our current and new partners

Negotiate contracts with suppliers

Be the liaison to senior representatives within, for example, user acquisition networks

- Inspiring your team

Inspire your team to experiment and test out new ways of working

This includes; managing 1:1 development reviews, goal setting meetings and regular check-ins

Encourage your team to expand their knowledge through attending relevant external conferences, courses etc

Skills/experience:

- Multi year experience in marketing mobile games to consumers

- You have proven experience of managing a successful team of marketers

- You have hands-on experience in marketing across various digital channels

- You have experience of working with significant marketing budgets

- You are experienced in dealing with and negotiating with suppliers

- You have a strong network of connections with relevant businesses/networks

- You love to delve into data to help drive your next move

- You have experience of setting team and personal goals (e.g. KPIs) and tracking against these

- You have strong and empathetic communication skills. You’re a proven mentor with the ability to support and guide a diverse range of marketers from graduate up to senior level

- You have a passion for playing mobile games!
