We’ve supported over 150 companies and always work with around 25 startups at any given time. Now we are looking for a Talent Manager to work on that number getting even higher.
If you think building high performing teams, headhunting, technology and startups are interesting or cool then you might be perfect for this role. We are looking for a driven Talent Manager to strengthen our People & Culture team at Arctic Business.
The Talent Manager will support all our startup companies in finding and recruiting new talents to their continuously growing teams and work with the management teams in this role.
We believe you have done something similar before e.g. manager, project leader or recruiter and have the proven ability to drive an entire search- and selection processes. Including keeping candidates and stakeholder dialogues throughout the process.
We believe that you are an individual that enjoys interacting with new people and values being a part of an organization that is characterized by fast growth and diversity of individuals with varying backgrounds and competencies. You are extremely service-minded. Furthermore, you will be expected to represent and present us in various events. Therefore, you need to be comfortable and engaging in presenting and talking to people.
We want you to be able to work independently, but always in close cooperation with our marketing and communication team. In this role, you will work with recruiting a variety of roles from sales to CTOs in fast growing startups.
Your day will look like;
Work with the startup companies (CEO / management) to identify current vacancies within the company. Bring your expertise and knowledge on how they can build diversified and high-performing teams.
Draft amazing job descriptions that reflect startups values and mission.
Top talent sourcing via events and community building, also through digital channels and tools.
Lead the entire interview and hiring process.
Take the initial dialogue with candidates and advise internal stakeholders based on your findings
Participate in various small and large events (e.g. meeting students organization) and present Arctic Business and our startups.
Work with marketing staff to plan and perform our events (often shared events targeting attracting entrepreneurs/innovators and to attract talent).
In this role, you are an important ambassador for Arctic Business and all our startup companies. It’s important that you understand the impact you have on all candidates you talk and meet with. You will participate in relevant internal meetings and contribute with your inputs and expertise.
A few times per week participate and represent Arctic Business in meetings with students, other networking events and visit other Arctic Business offices (Skellefteå, Luleå, Piteå).

To become successful in this role, you need;
• To be interested in new technologies and startups
• Prior experience as a manager, preferably in a startup context or in relevant role building teams (perhaps from coaching a sports-team or athletes on national level)
• Be comfortable and engaging in speaking in public and represent Arctic Business
• Experience in writing and quality checking candidate profiles for search activities
• A service-minded attitude, and handle all candidate dialogues with respect for the individual
• The rhetoric ability to present a role to a candidate in a good and clear way
• Familiar with labor legislation and related laws
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English (written / spoken).
• University degree
