What you will do

As a Software Function Developer, you will be developing in-house software to control the lateral movement of the vehicle for improved steering feel features. You will be part of a team developing mechatronic actuators and software applications. The team is cross functional and is responsible for the complete system and software development cycle.

Your future team
You will be part of Advanced Steering System group, within Vehicle Dynamics sub stream. We develop steering actuators and steering control systems for all the truck brands within Volvo Group as well as Volvo Buses.
We are now looking for a highly motivated engineer to strengthen our team in the steering control software verification area. Your future teams will consist of experienced and skilled embedded software engineers, function developers and mechatronic engineers.

You enjoy drive and lead changes to enable new WoW and culture.
* You enjoy teamwork but at the same time, you can work independently and drive development on your own. 
* You enjoy working with complex environment and solving technical challenges.
* You are structured and have good understanding on the importance of the process and documentation aspects of technical development.

We believe that you are... 
* Fluent in English, open-minded, proactive, provide ideas and drive them to resolution. 
* Are willing to bring solutions from design to verification.
* Enjoys both teamwork and more independent lines of work. 

We would like to see that you have several years of experience within SW development, in MATLAB and Simulink based modelling/analysis and have knowledge in System Safety and ISO26262. You should have BSc/MSc in Software, Mechatronic, Electrical or Physics or similar.
