Senior Communications Specialist

As a Senior Communication Specialist for Hitachi Energy, you will work strategically with internal and external communications projects, in line with Global Business Communications strategy, corporate identity and brand positioning in the country.

This entails planning, implementation, and follow-up of all communication activities, both internal and external, and to all relevant target groups. It is a broad area of responsibility that includes both brand positioning, employee engagement, content marketing and media relations in the country. You have a coordinating responsibility for the projects in terms of planning, production, and execution in accordance with the communication plan and country needs. You are responsible to propose and follow-up measurements of comms activities. You will be part of the Swedish Communications Team in Hitachi Energy and report to the Country Communication Manager, Sweden.

Your responsibilities

• You will be leading the communication in large projects.
• You will be handling internal communication.
• Building and maintaining media relations.
• Handling crisis communication. Draft messages, handle media and internal management in crisis together with Country Communication Manager.
• You will involve in sponsoring activation.
• Effectively handling editorial, including writing, and editing of media releases, both general and technical ones; speeches, position papers.
• Actively involved in arranging VIP visits.

Your background

• You hold minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Cross functional communication skills.
• Industry or/and energy understanding.
• Strong networking ability.
• You hold experience in International cross culturally.
• Understanding of all relevant media and communication channels, including digital communications channels and the power of social media.
• Exceptional writing or editing and oral communication skills in Swedish.
• Fluency in English and other languages are advantageous.
