Senior Food safety & OHS Procedure Expert

We seek a Food Safety & Procedure Expert to join an international company based in Lund.

This is a six-month full-time consultant position with the possibility to be extended. Starting Mid-May 2024.

Workplace: Mainly based in Karlshamn, but some time will be spent in Lund. First, there will be two weeks in Lund, where the detailed plan is settled. Also, when it comes to the time split between Karlshamn & Lund, it will probably be mainly in Lund in the beginning and more in Karlshamn over time.

Remote work is not possible.

Your main responsibilities:

Compile and implement Food Safety and Biohazard procedures:

- Food Safety and Biohazard analysis ensuring operation complies with regulations and industry standards, FSSC 22000

- Develop Best Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices documentation for working with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) in production.

- Microbiology and Good Laboratory practice documentation; working with new microorganisms for fermentation assessments and GMOs.

- Equipment cleaning procedures and verifications ensuring non-cross contamination.

Guidelines for new employees/visitors in a biohazard environment.

- Develop specific topic training material.

- Create procedures and guidelines.

Develop guidelines for how to work in an innovative and testing environment.

− Creating SOPs for all equipment & new equipment/test systems

− Guideline on how to create new SOPs and guidelines.

− Training & material for training

Required Skills:

• Microbiology and Food Safety knowledge
• Quality systems knowledge and understanding (HACCP, QACP, GMP, GLP, etc.)
• Occupational health and safety
• Pharmaceutical and Food Production experience.
• Proficient in English and Swedish
