Data Governance Manager to big tech company

We are looking for you who have a couple years experience working with data governance in a tech company and are on the lookout for an assignment that covers the rest of the year. Here you will have a key position in the company and single handedly manage the data governance in close collaboration with stakeholders within the international organisation.

OM TJÄNSTEN
You will support the approval and operationalization of our policies to ensure that they can be enforced consistently and at scale as the business and technology evolves. Derive and articulate technology and engineering requirements based on designed policies and approaches. Work with key cross-functional partners to design and implement strategic approaches to data governance challenges.

This is an assignment that reaches throughout the year with little possibility for an extension.

Work tasks

* Liaison between business and engineering stakeholders, with capabilities to extract necessary engineering requirements from business and compliance obligations
* Vet and provide feedback on technology changes and impacts or alignments required for current and future policies and plans
* Lead high-profile and/or time-sensitive projects and programs with well-defined roadmaps, logistics, and operations

VI SÖKER DIG SOM

To be a good fit for this role we think you have worked for a large tech company before and in a managing position with a lot of responsibility.

You have at least 3+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and/or enforcing policies for compliance and/or data governance strategies.

A technical understanding of data management, data governance, information systems, and compliance in a cloud-based environment, for example AWS or GCP.

You have the capability to work autonomously and make independent decisions to meet deliverables with minimal oversight.You are passionate about continuous improvement with a strong desire to continue learning in order to stay relevant to business changes and industry trends.

- Education: BA/BS degree in engineering, information systems or similar
- You need to hold a Swedish work permit and/or permanent resident in Sweden
