Operational Excellence & Manufacturing Director

Syre is now looking for an experienced and strategic Operations Leader to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for building and leading initiatives that drive operational excellence and transition to managing operational teams across our business operations. You will play a pivotal role in defining & optimizing processes and operating standards, enhancing efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all operational facets. You will have dual positions to both drive operational excellence as well as lead operations for one of our global hubs.

Key tasks and responsibilities

- Develop and implement a comprehensive operational excellence strategy aligned with the objectives of the Ways to Work program, Globally consistent processes, tools, KPI’s, data, governance models and productivity programs

- Lead the operational scale-up of a facility hub and transition to the operations manager position at startup

- Collaborate with senior leadership to define operational goals and key performance indicators

- Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to program participants

- Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions and identify opportunities for improvement

- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure operational performance

We would prefer if you

- Have a BS in Business, Operations Management, Engineering or other related field

- Have extensive and proven experience in operational leadership roles, with a focus on building and sustaining operational excellence

- Have extensive experience working within a manufacturing environment and leading operational teams - regionally, globally preferred but not required

- Are comfortable working with data and using insights to drive decision-making

- Are fluent in English both orally and in writing (professional English required)

You will be reporting into the COO and preferably be located in North Carolina, USA, Stockholm, Sweden or other future global hub.
