In 2006, when Clive Humby proclaimed that "Data is the new oil," it sparked global interest. Yet, many who ventured into working with data didn't see the expected results. Why? Because we shouldn't view data through the lens of being the new oil. Data is a boundless resource, and the key lies in the ability to unlock its value and the promises it holds. Data is more than just information; it's potential waiting to be harnessed. We are on a quest for those individuals-the ones capable of unleashing their complete potential.
New Minds is looking to expand with new data talents. We are launching a new Focus Academy within the field of data science where you get to work in the industry as well as getting a mix of generic skills and specific knowledge within the field of data science. We will primarily focus on three roles; data analyst, data engineer and data scientist. The detailed role description is under construction.
The Academy will start in the fall.
Who are you?
We seek individuals with a educational background focused on data and/or a genuine passion for the data field and the world of data. If you have studied a program that clearly emphasizes data or have an interest in this dynamic domain, we would love to hear from you.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, data engineering, data science, software engineering or a related field.
- Good python skills
- Thrive in collaborative environments.
- Great communications skills
Nice to have
- Hobby projects within the field of data
- Work experience in the field of data
- Knowledge in SQL
