Stena Teknik are accelerating to drive their industry forward in these important areas and are now looking for a skilled and experienced Head of Digital Transformation to take overall responsibility for establish guiding principles for digital activities towards Stena Shipping and ferries business.

YOU WILL
As Head of Digital Transformation and part of Stena Technical Department, your starting point will be to establish guiding principles for digital activities towards Stena shipping and ferries business.

Focus will thereby lie on establishing a cooperation platform driven by Stena Teknik to coordinate AI, ML and QC projects within the Stena Shipping business units, guided by the future prospects within digitalization.

This role will govern the development and application of fleet performance monitoring and prediction systems to enable data-driven decisions on fleet operations and technical investments.

As Head of Digital Transformation, you will be given a unique opportunity to shape and drive the development and transformation of our shipping business into a digital future.

Stena is committed to developing sustainable shipping solutions to future-proof our fleet. As such, we want you to liaise closely with our Sustainability & Energy Team to jointly work on decarbonization strategies supported by our digital agenda, and solutions that will drive economically viable circularity and take us to a sustainable future.

You will work closely to Stena IT to align Stena Teknik’s outlook on technology and digital road map with our overall digitalization strategy.

This is a new role in the organization which will play a crucial part by its contribution to:

- Establish data as a strategic asset within Stena Teknik

- Drive an increased focus on data-driven decision-making

- Contribute to valuable digitalization solutions

As Head of Digital Transformation you report directly to Stena Teknik’s Technical Director and are part of the management team.

YOU ARE
This position requires a demonstrated ability to strategic and analytical thinking with capability to see the bigger picture. A solid understanding of future tech will be key, together with understanding its impact on Stena in the long-term horizon.

We are looking for someone with several years of experience from a leading role within the field of digitalization and transformation - with a proven track record for being knowledgeable and business driven with excellent skills in building trustworthy relationships.

We believe that your deep knowledge and experience within the tech industry, together with your personality as a solid, experienced leader and people’s person, will make you successful.

Your strong communication skills coupled with curiosity and a collaborative mindset will help you reach the targets that we have set as a company. Qualifications required to be successful in this position:

- University degree (M.Sc.) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or similar

- Solid digital/tech background and several years of business experience in a leading position including both tech and business development

- Deep understanding of digital technologies and a good knowledge and experience of leading digitalization projects in an international environment

- Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate amongst different stakeholders within complex organizational structures

- Fluent in English, written and spoken
