Demand Planner

ValueOne is looking for a Demand Planner to one of our customers in Piteå. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible.

The role  

As Demand Planner, you will be responsible for the company’s short term and long-term demand planning. The work is conducted in close collaboration with the sales, purchasing and production departments. You are going to lead the planning meetings and will be the internal and external first point of contact in planning topics. Remote work is possible to some extent.

Main tasks:

• Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating an unconstrained demand plan
• Production and demand planning
• Releasing production orders
• Registration of orders and handling order acknowledgements
• Create and maintain demand forecasts
• Support Sales by providing guidance on global demand for specific products

Experience and competencies  

The person we are looking for must have at least a couple of years’ experience in production and demand planning. Good communication skills and fluency in Swedish and English, both in oral and in writing, is a must. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is desired. Furthermore, it is meritorious to be knowledgeable in SAP.

Your personal characteristics are important to us. The person we are looking for is a person with excellent communication skills and high business acumen. Furthermore, we expect you to be proficient at continuously developing and improving working methods and processes.
