Product team internship

Please note that this is an unpaid internship that can be combined with part time work or studies. The internship is primarily on-site at our Malmö office in Sweden. No relocation will be provided and you must have the right to live and work in Sweden. Local candidates will be preferred.

Your.Rentals’ Product team is looking for a talented intern with an ambition to learn more about Product Management, preferably a student towards the latter end of their university studies. You will work closely with a Product Manager as your mentor and in close collaboration with the rest of the Product Team in Sweden and Vietnam.

What will I be doing?
As a product intern you will work alongside a Product Manager to help them discover, refine, and develop product features that will make our customers businesses easy and profitable. Your goal is to deliver value from the first iteration and over time improve our services together with a cross-functional team of experts.

- Identify new business opportunities for Your.Rentals and our customers through data analytics, customer feedback and market research
- Turn insights and opportunities into actionable solutions for your team to implement
- Support our cross-functional team process by helping out in discovery, refinement and implementation phases of the feature development together with multiple stakeholders
- Visualise features with UI-design to represent the teams iterations
- Collaborate with Product Managers to learn the business side of Product development by understanding revenue drivers, ROI-estimations and prioritisation management
- Collaborate with UX/UI-Designers to understand how research activities can turn into innovative workflows, wireframes and prototypes that gives mutual value for both our customers and our company
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and assist them when transforming business needs into clear requirements and perform backlog refinement to support the Product Manager

What you’ll definitely need
- For this role, ideally you should be conducting studies within Business or Operations management or a Technology related field relevant to software development and human-computer interaction
- You should be available to commence the internship for 6 months for up to full-time (40h/w). The start date is flexible and will be agreed on between you and your mentor
- Great English written and verbal communication skills are required, including creating and delivering presentations to stakeholders
- A strong commercial mindset, preferable with some experience from business development within SaaS or e-commerce
- Ability to understand data that informs us of different opportunities and to perform risk assessment associated with it
- EU citizenship and residence in Sweden

What we’d love you to have

- A plan to pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, with an anticipated graduation date after the completion of your internship

- Knowledge or prior experience in the travel industry
- Passion for good usability and experience in design thinking
- Experience working with agile and scrum framework
- Experience using the Atlassian suite
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as AWS Quicksight
- Experience collaborating with Marketing, Sales and Support teams

- Strong networking and social skills, not afraid to interact with customers and internal teams

- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills

- A bag of fresh ideas
