About the position

Ready to join Hive's Video Analytics team? As a Frontend Engineer, you'll be a crucial member of our innovative squad, collaborating with a fantastic crew of four talented individuals, with team members based in bustling Stockholm, Sweden. Together, we're committed to ensuring the success of our customers' Live Events. Currently, we're crafting our next-generation video analytics products, expanding with new offerings, and iterating at a fast pace!

Your primary focus will revolve around UI development, where you'll lead in shaping Hive's next-generation web applications and interfaces. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in driving the evolution of our tech stack within our Web Tech guild and fostering collaboration with our UX team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Share responsibility for all Frontend aspects of our team’s products, including building components, visual and stylistic elements and consuming data APIs.

- Drive the implementation of persona-specific data visualizations.

- Collaborate with Backend/Fullstack Engineers to shape the data schemas exposed through our data graph APIs.

- Ensure design alignment by collaborating with the Product and UX teams.

Key contributions:

- You will be a major contributor in designing and implementing the UI of the new generation of our analytics products.

- You will play a significant role in building user-centric, interactive, and dynamic data visualizations.

- You will help us keep our tech stack cutting-edge by adopting the latest standards, techniques, and developments in the field.

Our current stack:
Typescript/Javascript, GraphQL and Angular

Your previous experiences :

- Experience working with modern Frontend frameworks, preferably Angular.

- Experience building responsive interfaces.

- Experience in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.

- Experience in HTML and CSS.

- Experience with data visualization and related tools.

- Knowledge and experience around accessibility best practices.
