The legal team at Epidemic Sound is focused on building a best-in-class legal department, providing efficient legal services of the highest possible level to the organization. We enable the business and other teams to work smoothly, knowing that the legal side of things is in hand. We’re now looking for a Legal Counsel with a main focus on corporate legal matters to join our skilled, ambitious, and enthusiastic team. What you'll do;

Your main focus will be on managing a broad range of corporate legal work, including overseeing and providing advice in relation to corporate housekeeping, development, governance, compliance, incentive programs etc.

Your work may also involve drafting, negotiating, and interpreting commercial contracts - keeping a business-oriented mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit while being mindful of reducing risk and protecting the company's interests.

You will have the opportunity to work broadly across legal fields in supporting our mission to soundtrack the world, and we believe in allowing the individual’s interests to play a role in professional development.

Not only will you contribute to structure, governance and knowledge development by creating templates, toolkits, best practice etc., but you will also get a chance to be at the forefront of technology and legal operations, implementing and working with legal tech such as AI-assisted contract management, and developing best practices concerning AI and other emerging technologies.

What you'll bring;

2-4 years of experience working with corporate legal matters at a reputable law firm and/or as legal counsel at a fast-paced company.

Strong analytical, organization and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent written and verbal skills in Swedish and English.

Master of Laws or equivalent from a Swedish university.
