Tech Lead - Pay Later

Are you passionate about revolutionizing e-commerce payments and leading dynamic teams? Join Qliro's Pay Later team, where we're on a mission to build the best e-commerce checkout experience. As the Tech Lead within our Pay Later team, you'll be a key player in our journey, working with major e-commerce players in the Nordics.

Your Role:
Lead the technical roadmap for our product, ensuring alignment with Qliro’s target architecture. From architecting to deploying services, you'll guide the team to provide a seamless experience for millions of users. As part of the Solutions & Architecture team, you'll represent the broader technology strategy within the daily operations of the Payments Team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design of technical solutions aligned with our strategies.

- Ensure solutions adhere to Qliro’s guidelines and meet regulatory and security standards.

- Communicate the product team’s target architecture and vision.

- Guide the team's development activities and assist in work breakdown and effort estimation.

- Implement tactics for improving and maintaining code quality.

- Mentor less experienced team members, providing constructive feedback.

- Support the Product Manager with a technical perspective in discovery, planning, and stakeholder management.

- Collaborate with leadership to enhance development competencies within the team.

- Stay current with development practices, architectural trends, and leadership skills.

About the Pay Later Team:
Focused on the customer's post-purchase journey, the Pay Later team provides easy invoice management and notifications. We emphasize collaboration with strong feedback loops, and code reviews.

Current Focus:

- Rebuilding Qliro’s core into a modern cloud-native scalable system.

- Working with technologies such as C# .NET, Docker, AWS, Typescript, Node.js, Step Functions, Lambda, Terraform, NoSQL.

- Providing REST APIs for our Web&App teams.

What We Look for:

- Deep knowledge and proficiency in C# .Net and familiarity with the stack.

- Leadership skills to inspire and guide the team in the transition to a modern architecture prepared for Qliro’s current and future business needs.

- Extensive experience building complex logic in a high throughput, fault tolerant, distributed platform with a focus on reliability and uptime.

- Deep understanding of system design, data structures, API development and algorithms.

- Experience in working with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
