Test Engineer

We develop and manufacture turnkey energy storage solutions, based on lithium-ion battery technology. Our goal is to engineer technology that both stores and optimizes energy as we shift towards more efficient energy usage and renewable energy sources on a global scale. Location: Polarium HQ in Stockholm and Solna

Position: Permanent, full-time

Responsibilities:

- Analysis and Repair our products

- Support production regarding test

- Develop and maintain failure analysis and repair documentation

- Work instructions for failure modes and repair process requirements

- Personel competence assessment

- Training of operators regarding test

- FMA&R activites

- Statistical / root cause analysis of failure modes

Consultation with NPI & QA functions for continuous improvement objectives

Qualifications and experience:

- Bachelor Engineering Degree (Electronic Engineering or similar experience)

- 3-5 years experience in failure analysis, diagnose, debug and repair production of multi-discipline electronics equipment

- PBA and electrical systems failure analysis knowledge

- Be able to analyze and correct complex product, test and/or process issues using independent judgment.

- Have the ability to work independently, take initiatives and lead the agenda

- Working knowledge of statistical methods and process capability, ability to apply statistical tools - Cpk, GR&R, tests for differences, DOE

- Quality improvement methods (pareto, root cause analysis, FMEA, 8D/DMAIC, etc),

- Experience from telecom and/or energy products is a merit

- Willing to travel

English language in conversation and writing is a must
