About Position

You will mainly work with matters that have their basis in school legislation.

The work involves, among other things, preparing and handling cases before decisions on additional amounts, extra resource allocation, etc. as well as writing opinions linked to, among other things, the School Inspectorate and the Administrative Court.

As a lawyer, you work independently. You provide qualified legal advice to the administration's managers and administrators, conduct legal investigations, assist in confidentiality investigations, handle your own cases and have close cooperation with board secretaries and registrars. 

In addition to the above, you will also be responsible for, for example:
• advice in individual cases regarding the school law, confidentiality issues and helpful in opinions to regulatory authority,
• business development and quality assurance based on the legal perspective in a process-oriented manner working,
• some advice in municipal law and case management in collaboration with the administration's committee secretary,
• advice in privacy legislation (GDPR) and handling of personal data incidents,
• advice on procurement and contracts,

 Qualifications
We are looking for you as:
• has a law degree and a couple of years' experience of qualified legal work in a municipality, region or in a government agency
• can easily familiarize yourself with new areas of law,
• can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish,
• with pedagogical skills can communicate legal issues with those affected in the business,
• has good cooperation skills
• have in-depth knowledge in the area of the Education Act,
• enjoys standing in front of audiences of varying sizes and giving training and has an ability to
adapt to the knowledge level of the recipients.

We would like you to:
• has experience in municipal law and general administrative law
