Controller (parental leave cover)

Nexus, part of IN Groupe, is a leading provider of secure identities for people and things. We are a high-tech company pushing frontiers when it comes to security and identity management and our Smart ID solutions and IoT platforms are used by millions of entities around the world, every single day. We are looking for a Controller to our Finance team in Stockholm!

Our Finance Director Susanna Ekendahl and our global finance department is on the quest for a new Financial controller/Business controller to her team in Stockholm (Telefonplan).

What would you be doing at Nexus
This is a temporary position, filling in for our fantastic colleague Eva, during her parental leave (12 months).

First of all, we want a Controller that is connected to the organization. At Nexus we talk about the importance of collaboration and this role is expected to do this often to drive the organization to make better and more data driven decisions.

A fundament to make data driven decisions is correct, reliable and packaged data. This will be your main mission, to help us validate, update and maintain our data sources. We work in Dynamics, PowerBI and Oracle Smartview and you will make these systems your back yard, intimately knowing not only the systems them self, but also the data within.

During forecast and budget, you will be key, validating and uploading data. And through out the year we want you to not just repeat the numbers and offer understandable reports and extracts, but also providing analysis and make recommendations based on your expertise.

We don’t want to lie to you, it will be a lot of hard work, but you will also have the possibility to bring some real and lasting impact to Nexus. You will work side-by-side with our Finance director, in a small and dedicated team.

Who are you?
You have a university degree within finance and have worked at least five years as a Financial controller or Business Controller, preferably within an European organization.

We believe that you are a hands-on person, solution focused and used to being close to the business. You are a self-driven person that can both drive your own projects but understand that stakeholder management is part of all support functions. One of your most qualifying traits is your analytic side, you will be required not only to validate data, but make assumptions based on that data.

If you have worked within Tech before with as-a-service offering, that's of course a plus. If not, we are expecting a strong interest to learn.

As mentioned, we work with in Dynamics, PowerBI and Oracle Smartview, so if you are familiar with these systems, that's nice. But as long as you are a bit system-savvy you will do fine!

Lastly, we are a global player and you need to be unhindered in English. If you also know one of these languages: Swedish, German or French, that’s a major plus.
