We develop and manufacture turnkey energy storage solutions, based on lithium-ion battery technology. Our goal is to engineer technology that both stores and optimizes energy as we shift towards more efficient energy usage and renewable energy sources on a global scale. Responsibilities

- Responsible for Polarium's Warehouse & Logistics function and team

- Design and build the end-to-end logistics, connecting Polarium's suppliers, factories, customers and DCs in order to support the growth of our business

- Oversees distribution, warehousing, and shipping strategies

- Meets warehouse operations by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets and scheduling expenditures

- Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage

- Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems

- Develops warehouse operations systems by analyzing process workflow and implementing changes

- Establish new operations in alignment with the Supply Chain expansion and the company growth

- Responsible for identifying and initiating process development together with our customers and with the rest of the Supply organization

- Provide Global Customs and Trade Compliance expertise and strategy

- Design and build Polarium’s return logistic flow (recycled parts as well as battery cells)

- Support Global Logistics Coordinators/Warehouse specialists in developing processes, Standard Operations Procedures and Service Level Agreements

- Provide input and drives the KPI’s development

- Continuously improve overall Polarium's Warehouse & Logistics operations

- Secure compliant processes and continuous improvements are implemented

- Follow-up and review the warehouse and distribution structure and costs

- Meet operations forecasting requirements, budget preparations and scheduling expenditures

- Dangerous goods regulations

- Follow-up and review the Warehouse & Logistics structure and LSP's

- Follow-up on and reduce warehouse, logistics and customs structure and costs

- Evaluate and assess the need for extending/re-build the supply chain to grow business

- Secure the supply deliverables

- Be a role model and always act with the interest of Polarium

Qualifications and experience

- Experience of imports and exports and all modes of transport

- You have experience in the field of logistics and excellent understanding of end to end supply chain

- Experience of Customs authorities and global trade regulations

- Great expertise within Rules or Origin

- People leader experience

- Experience of establishing operations in new countries (incl import, exports regulations, procedures etc)

- You have experience across multiple transportation modes (road, rail, sea and air), engaged with direct material suppliers, customs brokers, warehousing, in-house as well as 3PL-operated

- You have experience from global logistic sourcing

- You have been driving or have been engaged in greenfield or brownfield projects, where logistical solutions, routes and networks were built from the ground up or re-designed

- You enjoy logistics with all of its challenges, especially Dangerous Goods Management and Trade Compliance (Compliance/certifications)

- Clear negotiator and communicator

- Positive mindset and can-do attitude

- Ability to work independently and structured with attention to details

- Strong interpersonal skills

Who are you:

To succeed in the role as Manager Warehouse and Logistics at Polarium, you must be a problem solver who can process multiple information and enjoy fast growing corporate environment. You are a good communicator in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English. When it comes to your experience, we see that you have an university degree in economics or science, preferably within logistics/supply chain We would also like you to have previous experience of a listed environment
