We are seeking for software engineer to join our Talent program at Volvo Group, starting in February. Launching your career through a talent program provides an unparalleled transition from academia to professional life. With Nexer Tech Talent, you're future-proofing your career!

Connectivity are entering an exciting new technology transformation with focus on new development and the team will therefore increase junior team members to meet expectations when it comes to future deliveries.

Daily work mainly consists of analyzing problems and realize the solution in form of C++ code. New development, bug solving, verification, run tests in test rigs and write test cases in Python will be a part of the job. The team is today focusing on remote software download.

To be a fit in this team you have a genuinely interest in embedded software development and the field of automotive, as well as have a general interest in technology.

Connectivity are leading the development of in-vehicle connectivity-based solutions for the whole Volvo Group. As a vital part of the functional growth in Electromobility and Automation, they implement end-to-end functions of different tailor-made connected truck services available through Dynafleet services and Volvo Connect App such as Driver Coaching, I-See, Remote SW Download, Vehicle apps, and Geofencing.

Who Are We Looking For?

- Early-career professional with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or information technology

- Programming skills in C++ (or Java with deep knowledge in Object Oriented Design and Object-Oriented Design Principals), Python and Linux

- Team player with good communication skills

- Fast learner who will thrive to work on complex tasks

- Fluent in swedish and english

Upon completing the talent program, our goal is to welcome you to a permanent position at Volvo Group.

The program is located in Gothenburg.
