Production Engineer

We are now hiring a Production Engineer with home base in Norrköping, but with field of operation all over Europe.

What you do

This role is the main interface between CTEK and our production partners, configuration partners and suppliers in the European region. You will make sure that they are, with sufficient support from key CTEK stakeholders, upholding full operating capability , at satisfactory quality levels. You also;

- Act as first line technical support to the suppliers, with support from Engineering and Supply Chain teams whenever necessary.

- Own on-time delivery and production/configuration planning and follow-up as needed from our local production/configuration partners.

- Drive and partially own best practices within Design for Manufacturing, Design for Serviceability and Design for Test, in close cooperation with CTEK’s Product Engineering group in China.

A majority of the work takes place on-site at the suppliers / configuration partners - travel must therefore be expected.

You are a super-tech person, maybe even an IT-nerd. You are a driven team player and a goal-getter. The position requires a high degree of independence and work autonomy. It is essential that you have a strong ability to meet deadlines and understand industry standards and regulatory requirements. You also have good cross-functional understanding and adaptability, great commercial awareness, and understanding of customer expectations.

Your skills

To thrive and succeed in this role you have several years working experience in an international company, in Operations or/and Engineering. Experience from Project management and/or EV charging industry experience is a plus. University degree in electronic / communication engineering is preferred, but not a must, work experience will be weighed as possible equivalent.

You have good MS Office skills, and you are familiar with CAD software, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, as well as electronic layout systems. It is expected that you read and work with CAD / 3D / 2D drawings and to read and execute based on electrical schematics is a must. You also must have Hardware, Software and Network troubleshooting skills.
