JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be a part of the Analysis team that today consists of 6 people and your scope will include cross-functional work within the company.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leverage your expertise in image processing techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex biological images.

- Apply advanced algorithms for image segmentation, feature extraction, and pattern recognition.

- Use machine learning to develop models for predictive analytics and classification of biological data.

- Collaborate with other members of your team to integrate machine learning approaches into analysis pipelines.

- Utilize your understanding of biological processes to interpret and contextualize data outcomes.

- Bridge the gap between computational analysis and biological insights, contributing to the overall success of our research projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
To fit the role, you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field. Applicants with a biological sciences background but proven bioinformatics experience are welcome to apply. A Ph.D. with demonstrated results in a data-intensive field with applied data analysis skills is an advantage.

- Experience with image processing techniques, including segmentation, feature extraction, and analysis.

- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and their application to biological data.

- Good understanding of biological processes and the ability to interpret data in a biological context.

- Strong programming skills (Python) and proficiency in relevant bioinformatics tools. R knowledge and familiarity with scverse tools and Seurat is an advantage.

- Proficiency in written and spoken English and excellent communication skills are mandatory for effective collaboration within the team and company.

- The ability to contextualize technical findings and be able to make them understandable to colleagues with different domains of expertise is an advantage.
