About the job
In this position, you play an important part of the Sandvik Coromant organization as you plan and organize the daily work life of our President. You provide flexible service and act as a gate keeper, and you take initiatives to improve the efficiency and quality when it comes to supporting the Sandvik Coromant Management team. Besides supporting in various administrative tasks and being responsible for your executive’s agenda, you coordinate activities, travels and conferences, and you gather information, prepare material and document outcomes. As Executive Assistant Manager, you have a widely spread network and you interact with many different parts of the Sandvik organization, but also with external customers and partners worldwide.
To set the scene for a proactive and engaged support function that recognizes diversities and plays to everyone’s strengths, you lead a highly skilled team of executive assistants within Sandvik Coromant and you ensure good collaboration and continuous improvements within this cluster. On top of this, you work closely with other support functions to promote the idea of resource sharing to successfully manage events, and you utilize the possibilities of working in a cloud environment.
The location for this position is preferably in Sandviken (Sweden), but Stockholm or other locations can be open for discussion. Global travel is normally a natural part of the job.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone with the experience of managing teams - preferably in the service industry - and who has proved very strong organizational and administrative skills in previous assignments. To successfully manage the digital transformation we’re currently in, you need to be well acquainted with the new digital tools in our Office 365 environment. As we act in a truly global setting, your also need excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
You’re a doer with a positive attitude and a natural talent for service and leadership. Using your holistic view and high integrity, you work methodically and ensure accuracy - always staying two steps ahead and being full of ideas when it comes to solving problems. You’re also confident, outgoing and unassuming and you take great pride in delivering on time. It’s crucial for us that you stay calm in stressful situations, yet you know how to switch gears at a moment’s notice and you easily make decisions to gain results. Naturally, you’re a team player with an exceptional gift for networking and communicating with people from different cultures and settings, and you enjoy acting in an ever-changing environment where you get to develop teams, people and processes.
