Design Coordination – Continuous improvement, Electrolux Group


Introduction to the Role

We are looking for a structured and motivated design coordinator that has the experience to contribute to Design Effectiveness within Electrolux. The successful individual will work in close collaboration with the global Design Leadership Group to support and lead continues improvement projects.

You will work in close partnership with the Design Effectiveness team, the design leaders within our Consumer Experience Areas Taste, Care & Wellbeing and partnering functions like IT, HR and Finance.

We design meaningful and sustainable consumer experiences (products, services and interactions) in tight partnership with the different Business Areas. At Electrolux, Design Effectiveness combines all the disciplines that coordinate and drive operational excellence globally and locally, by developing and deploying best practices and identifying continual improvement actions in partnership with PMO, Finance, Purchasing, HR, IT and Legal

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

Design Coordination for continuous improvement projects, works with design effectiveness on following areas

·project coordination for internal design projects, setting the functional foundation regarding HR, IT & Financial tools measured by the HEART metrics for successful implementations and continuously improve (e.g resource management tools, onboarding process, communication platforms – internal and external).

·support decision making by taking a design thinking approach incl research and analysis

·support the financial project scoping activities for global projects guided by Design Strategists and Experience Leaders.

What type of Design effectiveness specialist are you?

·You have project management experience

·You know how to map and improve processes using also KPIs and OKRs

·You know how to coordinate multiples initiatives in your field, you adopt or develop new methods that increase the effectiveness of design deliveries

·You are a strong facilitator and understand the power of Design Thinking to drive intentional change forward

·You have a proven and recognized sense for value.

·You are used to a global playing field and able to work across multiple brands, geographic business areas and various design teams around the globe

·You are able to build a strong network and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organization

·You have a natural affiliation for people and an inquisitive mindset

·You constantly learn

·You are ambitious and truly motivated to perform.


Reporting line

Operational & functional report to Chief Design Officer, Electrolux Group, located in Stockholm Sweden and location is Stockholm


2.Position Requirements

·Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field.

·2+ years’ relevant experience in the field of design project management

·Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

·Agile individual leadership style, cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt to different cultures and environments.


Languages required

Fluent in English. Other languages are a benefit.
