In this role you have the responsibility to develop strategic Sales and Marketing plans based on common company strategic goals. You act as the leader of the central Sales & Marketing team and as a partner towards Commercial Operations. You have high understanding of our business, products and processes. Further you will identify areas of improvement and build action plans to systematically improve Sales performance in the entire SFS organization. To perform this you will approach markets to implement, improve and monitor Sales methods & performance, and support markets with the roll out of all sales & marketing activities.
Together with the Pre-Sales Manager reporting to you, you are responsible for the rollout out and usage of sales support tools, like SCRM and Sales Portal as well as to create tools and competences in order to allow for better business decisions and improve business intelligence within all Business units. You drive the integration of SFS Sales process within overall Scania sales processes and develop new Sales processes and ways of working based on Customer experience by better understanding the customer’s journey.
Working closely with Group marketing you will be responsible for the development of the Scania Financial Services proposition ensuring that it is consistent with Scania’s brand position and proposition. You will initiate market research activity and develop products and services working closely with stakeholders particularly Commercial Operations and Business Units. The development of centrally co-ordinated campaigns to support finance end insurance sales activity will be part of your brief.
Local Sales & Marketing Managers, normally reporting to the Business Unit MD, have a functional reporting line to the Head of Sales & Marketing. You have two direct report in Presales and Marketing & Communication..
